[An extension exercise that needs to be completed before embarking on exercise 5.5]
Pages palette
Once your design is complete, you will want to present it on some kind of sheet. Most landscape designers use A1 sheets for this, but some use A2. A3 sheets are ok for quick check plots, but not suitable for presentation to the client. GardenCAD features a Pages palette which is accessed from a drop down menu.
If the palette has not been used before, you need to select the Create page option.
Since GardenCAD allows you to create several pages containing different parts of your design, it is important to learn how to to control what is placed on pages and how to scale the chosen part of the design to the approved Australian Standard - AS1100.
Approved scales are: 1:5, 1:10, 1:20, 1:50, 1:100, 1:200 and 1:500
